Maintenance - Allows time to be marked off when the employee normally
works

- Click Appointment
- Click Extra
- Click Schedule Maintenance
- Enter the Starting and Ending Date to mark off (Click
the .. for a on-screen calendar)
- Enter Comment and press Save

System Agent
System Agent executes in the morning
|
The System Agent is designed to run at night when nobody is
in the business. If the computer is turned off at night the System Agent
can not execute, therefore it will execute every two days when you turn on
the computer. The best solution is to leave the computer on each night to
avoid the System Agent running each morning.

Printer Error
Printer does not print
|
Check to make sure the printer is on-line. Most
printers have an on-line button, but not all. If the printer seems
to be on-line or does not have a button, turn the printer off, wait 10
seconds and turn the printer on again. If that does not work turn the
printer off, reset the computer, turn printer back on and finally restart
the computer.
Under
Windows Printer Setup, click Start, Control Panel, Printers and Faxes,
right click on your printer shown. Left click Properties. At the top of
the screen click Advanced. At the bottom left of the screen a checkbox can
be checked that says Enabled Advanced Printer Features. If you printer
does not work, take that checkmark away and try printing from the
Spa/Salon Manager.

Merging Customer Names
Merging a
misspelled customer name to the proper spelling

- Hit More until Customer Display
- Type in incorrect customer name
- Click on the name and correct the spelling
- Press Save
- Answer Yes to merge customer's information
- If merge is not prompt, recheck the spelling of the name
|
Cash Drawer Won't Open
Cash Drawer does
not open
|
If you are using
a Cash Drawer/Receipt Printer combination, the cash drawer will only open
if the Receipt Printer has paper and is on-line. If the drawer does not
open, turn off the Receipt Printer wait a few seconds and turn it back on.

Gift Certificate
Insert new Gift Certificate for Printing |
This allows for a Gift
Certificate, Customer Name, Purchaser Name, amount and gift certificate
number. If you do not have a gift certificate slip printer, an error will
result after clicking okay on the Insert new Gift Certificate
prompt. To avoid the error, Click Maintenance, Computer Info,
and under slip printer select No Slip Printer and click Save. |
Safe Mode
Safe Mode |
If the windows screen is
saying, "Safe Mode", the system will not work correctly.
Touch Screens do not function in Safe Mode. To get back to normal,
Click Start, Click Shutdown followed by Clicking Restart
Computer. Once
the computer restarts the system will function normally. |
Mapping a Network Drive
Mapping a Network Drive |
- Double Click on the Network Neighborhood icon
- If the Network Neighborhood says "Entire Network"
and does not show other computer names, double click on Entire
Network.
- Double Click on the Host computer. Usually this is named Host or
Server, but can be named any name.
- Click on the C drive folder one time.
- Click File on the top left corner of Network Neighborhood.
- Click Map Network Drive.
- Change the Drive to the letter Z (for most installations setup by
IBCS).
- Make sure the Reconnect at Login has a checkmark.
- Close all Windows.
