Marketing - Email Marketing

NO COST MARKETING! By using the marketing options of The Spa/Salon Manager it will allow you to advertise the value of your services to your existing customers via email and the best part is that it does NOT cost you anything.

Marketing - Automatic Emails

The Spa/Salon Manager program has many automatic emails that it can send out to your customers.  When setting up a new email account in the system under Maintenance -> Internet / Marketing you can set up which types of emails you would like the program to automatically send each night.  Birthday emails, confirmation emails, reminder emails, and thank you emails to new customers can all be set up within this section.

Marketing - Manual Emails

Customers can be emailed using the Mailing section under Reports.  Click the checkbox that says, Email Only, the system creates a list of customers based upon the mailing criteria you have chosen.  Whether you want to email to all of the new customers that came in last month or to the customers that did not return, it's up to you.  When you have a big announcement about the salon or want to offer a special promotion, the system allows you to email all of your customers in a few minutes.

Marketing - Text Messaging

In addition to using customer email addresses to stay in touch you can also contact customers by sending text messages directly to their cell phones.  Text messages can be sent directly to specific customers and the program will automatically send out text messages to all customers due in each day to remind them about their appointments.

Checking SpaSalon Email

Once you've sent emails out to customers you'll want to get their responses.  You can read any replies sent to your SpaSalon email account by going to Send E-mail -> Check SpaSalon Email.  On that screen you'll see a list of your most recent emails which you can sort by the date, sender, or subject.  When you click on an email you'll be able to see the sender, subject, and date, read the email, and you'll have options to Reply and Delete the message.  In addition, if there are attached files you can save them to the pictures folder in our program.  Finally, if the sender's email address is in your program you can click Customer Display to access the customer's information.

Form Letters

Form Letters allows you to send personalized letters to customers on your mailing list. When using  the Form Letters feature, the first step is to create a mailing list for the customers that you wish to send these letters. To create the Mailing Labels, use Reports, Mailing and select the desired criteria. Once you have the mailing labels then proceed to composing the letters.  Click Form Letters from the Reports Menu and a word processor appears on the screen that works with The Spa/Salon Manager to write your letters. Create the letter adding in the personalized fields by selecting Insert Merge Field. You may enter the following information, Customer Name, Address, Address 2, City, State, Zip Code, Home Phone, Work Phone, Last Visit Date or Birthday. The possibilities are endless when using the Form Letters to correspond with your customers. A laser printer is recommended for large printings such as Form Letters.
