12/30/2005 Added Visual Basic 5.0 runtime files to allow Technical Cards to work properly on some new installations.
12/28/2005 Added an option to Inventory Maintenance to make a price change to all items in a category/classification/supplier list.  You can make the price changes either by a set dollar amount or by a percentage of the current retail price.
12/27/2005 Changed the Date Range Detailed Retail Reports.  You now get an option to either group by Code Number, Category, Classification or Supplier when doing the Code Number breakdown.  Choosing Code Number for the grouping will pull up the same 'By Code Number' report that the system pulled up in the past.  Choosing one of the other groupings will group your items by whichever grouping you selected (Category, Classification or Supplier) as well as giving a subtotal for each group.  In addition to these changes all of the Code Number Date Range Detailed Retail Reports will be sorted by the code number instead of sales volume.
12/23/2005 Added options for Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly breakdowns to the Salon Information and the Employee Information Date Range Reports with Day-By-Day Totals turned on.  You can select whether you want Daily, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly breakdowns from the box that appears beneath the Day-By-Day Totals option when you click Yes on it.
12/22/2005 Added the option for 'Retail Only Sales Information' to show on the Date Range -> Salon Information Report (with none of the detail options set) and the Date Range -> Employee Information Report (with Services in Detail Selected).  The Retail Only Sales Information shows the number of customers, number of visits for those customers and sales total for people that only bought retail on a certain visit to the salon (in other words, people that did not have a service done on a certain day but did buy retail).
12/20/2005 Added the ability to pull up the Pre-Booking report for new customers only.
12/19/2005 Updated the following State Tax tables for 2006.  MD, NC, NM, UT and VA.
12/19/2005 Verified the following states had no changes..  DE and NJ
12/19/2005 The following states have not released updated tables at the time of shipping the Federal Tax update. AZ, CO, ID and MA.
12/16/2005 Updated CA, KY and verified WI State taxes.

12/12/2005 Added the ability to select specific employees to the Time Card Summary Reports.
12/09/2005 IL state taxes were unchanged, but verified.
12/09/2005 Updated Payroll for new Ohio Tax Table. Ohio taxes are now three digits past the decimal point and the tax chart within the program only allows for two. This will cause the taxes to vary from the by $3.00 for every $50,000 in wages.
12/09/2005 Fixed a problem with Custom Passwords, Accounts Summary was allowed when it was not selected.  Added a new Custom selection in the Account Summary to allow List Outstanding Balances.
12/07/2005 Updated new Federal Tax Table for 2006.
12/02/2005 Updated the 941 Payroll worksheet to match the current 941 form.
12/02/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the Schedule Maintenance to block off 15 extra minutes that it did not need to block off at the end of the day.
11/30/2005 Added a confirmation message to the Clear Pagers button.
11/30/2005 Added the option to delete all intercoms at the end of each day when the system agent runs.  To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in IMESS0.DEL and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
11/29/2005 Fixed the Employee Information Report in the Maintenance Reports section so that it shows the correct overtime pay.
11/29/2005 Changed when the paging messages are sent out to employees when a customer is checked in.  Messages are now sent out immediately when the customer is checked in and the message is only sent to the first employee that customer will see that day.
11/28/2005 Added new feature to Appointment Log to either include or not include standing appointments that were booked by the computer automatically. When searching for appointments, excluding standings reduces the number of pages that would be printed.
11/22/2005 Added a feature to the pager support in the program to page employees if a customer books a same day appointment.
11/21/2005 Fixed a problem with WI State taxes if the employee did not make over $100 per week the system tried to withhold $300+ in State taxes.
11/21/2005 Added a new support option using an Internet connection called Help Me Support. At your request you can click the new button Help Me Support on the main menu bar.  Help Me allows our technicians to control your computer by a six-digit ID.   This new service works easier and requires less setup than the PCAnywhere that we have used in the past.  We are very excited to offer this service to our customers that have Internet access. The best news the Help Me feature does not require you to purchase any additional software, it's built into The Spa-Salon Manager.
11/18/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause credit cards to be charged when a sale did not go through because no services or retail items were entered.
11/16/2005 Fixed a problem with the change made on 10/25/2005 where we no longer popped up the password screen when Adding and Modifying Employees.  Modifying an employee was causing the employee's password settings to be cleared out.  This no longer happens now.
11/14/2005 Changed the Rebook process so that the Print and Statistics buttons are hidden while rebooking.  This will avoid people running on smaller screen resolutions from having the box with the Rebooking information at the top of the screen covered by these buttons.
11/14/2005 Changed the feature from 09/28/2005 for automatically adding a tip to sales so that it only adds the tip for the service total and not the customer total as it was doing originally.
11/11/2005 Fixed a problem with the copy password options that caused the password settings to copy to all employees instead of just the selected employees.
11/09/2005 Added a Regular - Lunch column to the Time Card Summary reports.  This will show the regular time worked minus the lunch time.  It will only be visible for people that do not show the hours and minutes on the report...in other words it will show for people that have a decimal representation such as 41.75 hours worked instead of showing 41 hours 45 minutes.
11/09/2005 Added the option to sort inventory orders by product name instead of inventory code.  This can be set by going to Inventory -> Define Labels and Ordering Style.
11/04/2005 Changed the program so that changing the name of a customer that was already checked in or out during the current day will no longer clear the yellow or red color indicator showing that they were checked in or out.
11/04/2005 Added the ability to the Maintenance -> Appointment -> Email Confirmation screen to turn off the automatic email confirmations.  Also added the ability to set how many days in advance to send out those automatic confirmations.
11/04/2005 Changed the email confirmations so that the program will only send one confirmation email to a customer for each appointment date regardless of when it is sent, whether it is sent manually or automatically or how their confirmation options are set.
11/04/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause cameras not to work when first plugged into the computer.
10/31/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause the classification on an employee to get changed inadvertently while modifying employees.
10/28/2005 Added the time to the full page receipt.
10/27/2005 Added a Copy Password Options to the Employee Maintenance screen.  This will allow you to copy the password settings (printer access and password level) from one employee to one or more other employees.  You will still need to go into Employee Passwords for each employee first and set them up with their own password (the password level and printer options don't matter...just the password) and after giving them a password you can copy the options to save time.
10/25/2005 Changed the Appointment Maintenance Screen so that you can no longer type in the Appointment Starting Hour box (since typing the time into the box did not work correctly).  You can pick your starting our from the drop-down list.
10/25/2005 Removed the unused Account Name and Discount Percent boxes from the Transaction Maintenance screen.
10/25/2005 Changed the Add Miscellaneous Transaction button so that hitting Save when adding a category will now pop up a box to let you know that the category has been added.
10/25/2005 Changed the Add Employee and Modify Employee buttons in Employee Maintenance so that you no longer have to fill in the employee's password in those sections.  To fill in password information you can still use the Employee Passwords button.
10/21/2005 Added option to Accounting setup for QuickBooks to allow the system to post deposits automatically each night.
10/21/2005 Changed the wording on the new custom password option added on 10/17/2005.  It is now called Change Inventory Information instead of Modify Inventory Items.
10/19/2005 Fixed the Wisconsin State tax rate when a married employee was making less than $105.77 weekly the system would show an large state tax due making the net pay negative.
10/18/2005 Changed the program so that all inventory categories, classifications and suppliers can be modified in Inventory Maintenance - not just the first 100 of each.
10/17/2005 Fixed the option for Automatic Posting to QuickBooks each night.   Use Accounting Setup to configure this option. After choosing the checking and payroll account, pressing Continue asks if you would like the QuickBooks to post each night.
10/17/2005 Changed the booking styles screen so that the second column for assistant booking styles (which is not used anymore) is not visible.
10/17/2005 Added the option to the custom password section to allow you to take away the ability to save changes to inventory items.  You would just take away the option for Modify Inventory Item.  This allows employees to have access to the inventory screen but be restricted from making changes.
10/14/2005 X-Charge updates program to prevent lockups during printing. New version released 5.0.6.
10/13/2005 Added a scroll bar to the Cancel Appointment screen to allow you to cancel any part of very long appointments.  The display is shortened to avoid screen clutter when using Cancel appointment.
10/05/2005 Added the option to not show the last name's initial at all on the email confirmation or confirmation screen.  To turn this feature off go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in INITL0.NO and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
10/04/2005 Fixed a problem with the change from 9/23/05 for the IOU's paid off during payroll.  While the change on 9/23 fixed the problem that would make the daily sheet not balance correctly it created a problem that would cause the cash amount in the drawer on a given day to be incorrect.  Both problems should be fixed now.
09/29/2005 Added a question to simplify adding in commissions for employees.  By answering Yes to the question whether an employee receives a flat rate for both service and retail commission you can now simply type the amounts in rather than filling out the commission screen.  To enter mulit-level commission or to use the advanced features you would just answer No to the question.  To turn this feature off go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in SCOMM0.NO and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
09/29/2005 Fixed several bugs with deleting a Transaction type.
09/29/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause the employee sorting not to show correctly after adding a receptionist to the program as a new employee.
09/29/2005 Took out the option to store employee information when going over an old employee.  The system will now store the profile immediately when changing an employee name.  Make sure to do it at a time where you can have everyone log out of all computers for 15-20 minutes.
09/28/2005 Added the ability to have a tip amount added to the payment automatically when clicking on a payment name on the check out screen.  To set this option up, go to Maintenance -> Transactions and click on the Tip Options button.
09/28/2005 Fixed a problem with the working hours screen that caused the wrong time or no time to show if you did not fill in the am/pm option on an evening time.
09/26/2005 Added the option to create a separate backup for each day of the week onto the same backup disk.  To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in BACKD0.YES and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
09/26/2005 Fixed the Inventory Reports when selecting a specific category the system would give an error before showing the report and no report would be shown.
09/26/2005 Fixed the Payroll rebuilding index each time the program is started for customers that do not use payroll.

09/26/2005 Fixed the Restore Backup when restoring a backup the screen said Storing Current Information forever. Now the screen clears and allows the restore to proceed normally.
09/23/2005 Added an offsetting entry to the daily sheet to keep the totals balanced when paying off IOU's through payroll.
09/21/2005 Fixed a problem that caused inventory reports to lose their sorting when clicking Select Printer to pick a different printer than the default.
09/19/2005 Changed the Web Update to automatically register the Online Booking files. This will avoid having the OnLine Booking down after performing an update. You must go into the program after performing the Web Update to activate the OnLine Booking.
09/14/2005 Fixed the W2's and W3's when dealing with 401K. 401K deduction subtracted from State Wages except for Pennsylvania and Maine.
09/14/2005 Changed the maximum number of retail items on each ticket from 30 to 28.  This will correct the problems that some customers were having with the wrong retail price showing on the daily sheet for the last two retail items on a sale.
09/12/2005 Added new feature in the Detailed Daily Sheet when Sorting by Name the system now shows the any retail purchased by the customer.
09/09/2005 Optimized the Send Email to All Customers option.  While some of the changes we've made recently will still cause it to take up to a minute or two to come up on some computers it will come up a lot faster than it had been after the Summer update.
09/09/2005 Fixed a problem with special booking styles that caused them to not work with available and finish times.
09/07/2005 Fixed a problem that could make the Internet option in Maintenance not visible.
09/07/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the Pay In/Out section to be incorrect when doing a correction and using a second Pay In/Out category as a payment method on a sale that already had a Pay In/Out category as one of the payment types.
08/31/2005 Added the Purchaser Name to the Accounts in Detail Report.
08/26/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause Salon,Card to not show up as a choice to give credit for a service.
08/26/2005 Added the option to give credit to other employees automatically based on what service is selected.  An example of a situation where this would be used is where several different employees are responsible for greeting customers and getting a spa room set up for them (and are booked to do so) but credit for the service goes to the salon.  After turning this option on you can set up the credit under Maintenance -> Service -> Modify Service.  To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in ALTCR0.SRV and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
08/25/2005 Added the option to have the program not order items if you are required to order them in bulk (items that you have a number higher than 1 in for the Unit Quantity) and you don't need the full amount being ordered.  For example, if you had 8 on hand, 12 as your minimum and 6 as your unit quantity the system would not order since you don't need the full 6.  If would wait until you had 6 or less on hand.  To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in UNIT_0.ORD and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
08/24/2005 Fixed a problem when trying to make a correction using the Detail Listing section on the Close Day screen.  If you track Tips and use Tips Retained to keep the tips in the drawer then making a correction through this area would cause the system to lock up.  This will now work correctly.
08/24/2005 Added the option to give credit to other employees automatically when an appointment is booked with certain employees.  An example of a situation where this would be used is where there are several assistants that all have their own column in the appointment book but you want the credit for all of their services to go to one other employee.  After turning this option on you can set up the credit under Maintenance -> Employee -> Modify Employee.  To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in ALTCR0.EMP and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
08/23/2005 Added support for service charges to the service pay total shown on the Performance Recap report.  Also included retail total and retail pay on the report.
08/22/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause the List Employee Daily Totals report to not be an option under Receptionist Reports when it should be there.
08/17/2005 Added a hyphen before the appointment comments on the package printing in the appointment book.  Also allowed more space to show the full comment.
08/05/2005 Added the ability to select services to show up as packages under the Statistics button in the Appointment Book.  To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in PKSRV0.YES and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.  After turning this feature on you can go to Maintenance -> Service -> Modify Service and go through each service you want to have showing as a package and click the box for Count Service as Package.
08/05/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause weekly archive files to have file names such as .zip, a.zip, etc and also not show up in the Change to Previous Period section in Reports.
08/05/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause errors in the system when trying to move or edit appointments that required a room.
07/28/2005 Added the option to have QuickBooks information post automatically at night when the system agent runs.  This option will only work if you have QuickBooks installed on the same computer that runs the system agent and only if you have already set up the posting within the SpaSalon Manager program.  To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in QPOST0.YES and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
07/28/2005 Made a change to hide the buttons at the top of the appointment book when moving an appointment.  This will keep the label at the top from overlapping with the buttons on computers with smaller screens/display settings.
07/26/2005 Made a change so that not entering a Gift Certificate number when asked for one will not go to gift certificate number 0 - it simply will not allow you to select that gift certificate at all.
07/26/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause the days of the week to not show up along the top of the screen in Week View.
07/22/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the Support Hours page under Enhancements/Training to not print.
07/22/2005 Added the ability to email the list of appointments on the Find Appointment screen to the customer.  This button will only show on customers that have an email address set up in the system and only if you have set your computer up to send emails through the program.
07/22/2005 Added the appointment comment to the print out of the day's packages in the appointment book.
07/21/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the Change Services/Times button on the Edit Info screen to move appointments down when the finish time of the appointment was clicked on.
07/19/2005 Fixed a problem with the new feature added on 7/13/2005 that allowed the printing of the appointment book.  The Print button covered up the statistics that come up when clicking the Statistics button.  The buttons have been switched so that this overlap does not happen anymore.
07/19/2005 Fixed a problem that made it impossible to credit receptionists for retail sales.
07/18/2005 Added the ability to the credit card processing so that booth rental salons can use multiple processing accounts (one for each booth renter).
07/13/2005 Added a new report called the Performance Recap.  This report shows the amount of money paid to each employee in commission and compares that amount (less expenses such as health care, etc.) to their number of hours worked to give the employee's effective hourly rate.
07/13/2005 Added the ability to update the customer address/phone number information when using the Search feature in the program.  The message pops up after you've clicked to Book the appointment.  To turn this feature off go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in PCUST0.NO and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
07/13/2005 Added the ability to print out the current view in the appointment book.  This allows you to do many things that were not possible in the past, from printing out several employees' schedules on one sheet of paper to printing out one employee's week view.  Changing the Detail Level (both the number of employees to show and the number of times to show), using View Select and switching to Week View will all effect what the system prints when you click the Print button at the top of the appointment book.
07/11/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the Employee Detailed Daily Sheet to not show retail sales for employees on retail-only services.
07/06/2005 Fixed a problem that only affected salons that did not run service sales through the program.  It could cause the Salon Information Date Range report to corrupt the date range database.  Again, this only affects salons that have never run a service sale through the program.
07/06/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the retention totals to carry over from old employees when you replaced an employee with a new one by modifying the original employee and answering that it was not the same person under a new name.  This will now correctly clear out the new employee's retention and put all old employee retention totals under one employee named "Old Employees".
06/30/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the Yes/No choices to not come up on the Email Options under Customer Display.
06/30/2005 Updated the W2 printing to allow the top margin and the spacing between the W2's to be adjustable.
06/29/2005 Added new feature to Payroll Manager. When a check is voided the corresponding Gross Pay entry is voided as well. Previously, the system did not void the Gross Pay report making the Date Range Net Payroll not match the Date Range Gross Pay.  Only checks voided after the update will properly void the Gross Pay entries.
06/15/2005 Changed the headings on the Find Appointment page so that they line up on all screen resolutions.
06/15/2005 Added a custom password option to remove access to the Remove Name button on the check out screen.
06/14/2005 Changed the Cancel All and Cancel Rest options so that you may now cancel all of the appointments on a certain employee and day of the week for reserved names (NO,APPT, SCHED,OFF, etc).
06/14/2005 Added an automatic backup to the program any time someone attempts to restore a backup.  This gives technical support a way to help you recover from an employee accidentally trying to restore a backup instead of trying to make one.
06/13/2005 Fixed a problem that made the program not use miscellaneous services when putting in Schedule Maintenance changes.
06/13/2005 Fixed a problem that caused the Salon,Card or a blank employee to show up on the Password Tracking report when people were accessing time cards.
06/13/2005 Updated the QuickBooks posting to increase the speed of posting. For very large salons, the system would require a considerable amount of time to post the deposits and payroll.
06/10/2005 Changed the Getting Started screen for new salons so that you don't need to log out of the program after adding employees to get those employees to show up under the other sections in Getting Started.
06/07/2005 Added the option to have employees that have already clocked in show up in green in the appointment book.  This option can not be used at the same time as the Target Booking option. 06/07/2005 Added a new report to the program called Appointment Percentage Markoff.  This report will allow you to see the total amount of time marked off in the appointment book with the special names in the program (NO,APPT, SCHED,OFF, etc) as well as the percentage of each employee's book marked off with these names.
06/03/2005 Fixed a problem that caused people using the legal names feature in payroll to have the wrong YTD totals on the check stubs.
06/03/2005 Changed the amount of time that the program waits for Quicken to open from 1 to 3 seconds.  This should help alleviate people having problems with Quicken not posting from time to time.
06/03/2005 Fixed a problem that was causing a message to appear in error at the bottom of emails saying that the message was sent using an evaluation version.
05/27/2005 Changed the subject on the New Customer emails to "A Special Thank You".
05/27/2005 Added the option to have Subtract Sale from a Previous Day corrections show up on the customer's history instead of removing the most recent matching transaction as it does currently.  To turn this option on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in REMPR0.NO and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
05/24/2005 Changed the No Show warning so that it comes up immediately after putting the customer's name in.  To change this back to the way it operated originally go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in NOSHW0.ORG and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
05/17/2005 Fixed the Virginia state taxes on high income employees the state tax withheld was zero. This was an error in the Virginia tax table as setup by the Spa/Salon Manager. The table has been corrected.
05/16/2005 Fixed a problem on the checkout screen.  If you clicked on a customer's IOU balance to pay it off the pay off did not register correctly.
05/16/2005 Added a Price Change Report to the Reports -> List Daily Sheets section.  This report shows all sales that have had their price changed broken down by employee.
05/12/2005 Added several options to how emails will be handled by the program.  These options can be set for each customer on the Customer Display screen using the Email Options button.  The options for each customer are as follows: 1) The ability to not send confirmation emails, 2) The ability to force the program to have a customer still get a phone call confirmation even if they've received an email confirmation and 3) The ability to 'opt-out' of advertising emails from the salon.
05/12/2005 Added the option to show weekly totals on the Detailed Time Card report when the dates selected include more than one week.  These totals will be based on Sunday-Saturday being considered a week.  To turn this option on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in TCARD0.WK and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
05/07/2005 Fixed a problem with the Employee Detailed Daily Sheet report that caused sales that had been voided to still show up on that one report.
05/06/2005 Fixed a problem with the correction for Pay In/Out transactions.  If you use credit card processing and you did a correction and clicked Continue without changing anything it could throw the totals on the sale off.
05/05/2005 Fixed the work tickets so that if you set the Nail Technical cards not to show in maintenance they are correctly turned off.

04/27/2005 Fixed a problem that made customers booked for the same service at the same time on the same date but with two different employees to only show one of those appointments on the Find Appointment screen.
04/23/2005 Added the option to have employees with no pay not show up on the Gross Payroll reports.  To turn this option on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in GRPAY0.ZER and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
04/21/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause appointments booked by employees above number 255 to show Salon,Card as the employee booking the appointment.
04/21/2005 Changed the program so that the custom password option to take phone numbers off of the screen also takes them away on the service selection screen while booking an appointment.
04/21/2005 Changed the program so that standing appointments won't be taken into consideration for the pre-booking report.
03/30/2005 Added a new option to the receipt printing.  You can now tell the program to print out the inventory code number on the receipts instead of the name of the product.  To turn this option on, go into Utility, then File Utilities.  Under the Directory section, click Salon.  In the File Name box, type in RTCOD0.REC and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
03/30/2005 Fixed the Tips Retained feature.  It was not recording the necessary Tips Retained entry on cash sales.
03/28/2005 Fixed a problem that could cause systems utilizing the $0 series sales option of the program that allows customers to have a $0 balance on their gift certificate but have a series of services available to them to have problems checking out those series correctly.  This was not a problem until 1/25/05.

03/11/2005 Added the ability to click on the words 'Code Number' on the inventory screen while adding new products. This will automatically fill in the first available code number in the system. We only recommend using this option if you are not organizing your products with each product line having all of its code numbers together, since the system does not check whether the code number it fills in matches up to the other items around it - it simply gives you the first available code number.
03/11/2005 Changed the warning in the appointment book that comes up when you're booking a customer within 6 days of an appointment for the same services so that it shows future appointments first before past appointments (if the customer had both an appointment within 6 days in the past and within 6 days in the future).

03/10/2005 Added a new report to the Inventory Reports section called Shelf Stickers.  This report allows you to print out stickers for your shelves on Avery 5160 compatible labels (same as mailing labels for our program).

03/04/2005 Added an option to the program called Target Booking. This option adds a button to the Appointment Maintenance screen called Target Booking. By clicking on this button and selecting certain employees, all Target Booking employees will have their names in green along the top of the appointment book. 02/16/2005 Made it possible to access the Net Payroll Reports if access to Net Pay is given even if they don't have access to Payroll Manager.  This allows an employee to print reports for Net Payroll while not having access to actually run payroll.
02/16/2005 Changed the Customer Display screen so that invalid customer names (such as names with numbers or symbols at the beginning) will not show on the list of near spellings.
02/15/2005 Added the ability to pay an employee a flat rate per service instead of commission. The flat rate is entered as a negative Service Charge.  The total pay per service is shown in the Payroll Calculation as a Bonus. This above is a quote from Quick support. The affects you if you are using Quicken 2001 or 2002 to retrieve totals from your bank. You are NOT affected if you do not perform online banking within Quicken 2001 or 2002.  The problem is that upgrading to Quicken 2005 disables the ability to post Spa/Salon Manager data to Quicken. Intuit has chosen to disable this feature to force businesses to use QuickBooks Professional instead of Quicken. Before upgrading consider what you value online banking or posting from Spa/Salon Manager.

01/19/2005 Failed to export the report when trying to export any file to PDF, RTF, DOC and XLS. To correct this problem you must change the following command.  From the Utility, Click MS-Dos Data. At the prompt type
