12/20/2013 Updated State Tax Table for Delaware and Kansas.
12/13/2013 Updated Federal Tax tables for 2014. Updated the following states tax tables CA, MN, NM, NY and OH. Updates are being made as states release data. Not all states are making changes this year. The information center will show a Red Payroll button if you need to update your system for taxes in 2014. States that do not have a State Tax should download the update for the Federal Tax change before the first payroll of 2014.
12/13/2013 Revamped the Verify Monies screen. We added a new number - Difference - so that you don't have to go to Close Day or use a calculator to find out how far off the numbers are. Changed the Sort Transactions button to Refresh since the transactions were changed to always be sorted. Finally, moved some of the captions on the screen to be right beside the box for which they were providing instructions.
12/12/2013 Changed the program so that new customer names entered during a gift certificate purchase by number are not added to the database. This allows them to still be treated as a new customer when logging in to the Online Booking. To change back to the old method where the program added these names go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in Apadr0.Nop and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
11/26/2013 Added an option to not prompt about incomplete addresses if it's the Home Phone that was not filled in. 11/15/2013 Changed the program so that entering a new customer's partial name, hitting Continue, then finishing their name on the Check In screen correctly saves the email address.
11/15/2013 Added an option to use the existing booking style when moving an appointment. This will allow bookings that were booked with extra/less time for a specific appointment to maintain those bookings when they're moved.
11/07/2013 Fixed a problem that could cause IOU's and NSF checks to not update correctly when doing a correction.
10/28/2013 Fixed some problems with the correction screen to minimize lock-ups with the system and to help with some of the issues with correction throwing off cash drawer totals for the day.
10/15/2013 We've updated the Aveda Master Report in our Date Range Reports so that our Aveda customers can send their information directly to their Aveda representatives without having to deal with Excel at all. 09/26/2013 Updated the Tip Information Date Range Report so that it correctly displays cash amounts even when not all sales received tips.
09/19/2013 Fixed the Ohio State tax calculation for when the employee had zero dollar pay.
09/13/2013 Changed the Salon Use section so that it no longer updates the Last Sold Date nor the Week, Month, Quarter, and Year-to-Date sales. 09/12/2013 Fixed a problem when using sorted services the Update Booking Styles and Update Special Booking on the final appointment booking screen would not always update properly. This only affected customers that had changed their service order under Maintenance, Service and Change Service Order.
09/09/2013 Fixed a problem with the account statements that caused the NSF check to subtract instead of adding from the amount owed.
08/28/2013 Updated Ohio State Withholding Table.  The new table rates are available at http://www.tax.ohio.gov/Portals/0/employer_withholding/2013-2014%20tables/WTH_PercentageMethod_FS_2013_080813.pdf
08/21/2013 Fixed County Tax for Indiana customers that claim tips for employees. The tips were not being taxed even if the proper settings were set in the Spa-Salon Manager County Tax Deduction screen.
08/15/2013 Added the ability to check what credit card is vaulted by clicking on the Stored CC label to the left of the Update button.
08/08/2013 Fixed an issue when Modifying Payroll with Service Charges the Service Charge was shown as deducted before commission instead of after. 
08/06/2013 Fixed a problem that could cause the Customer Payment screen to show as open at the bottom of the screen for Cloud customers after sales were complete.
07/30/2013 Changed the Cancel All/Rest buttons to go 1 week past the end of the book to accommodate the fact that we now book out that far for certain functions.
07/23/2013 Updated new Minnesota Tax table. Rates were increased for high income earners.
07/23/2013 Updated new Tax Table for North Dakota. Rates were lowered!
07/16/2013 Changed the Continue button on the Daily Correction screen so that hitting it without making any changes has the same effect as cancelling out of the screen.
07/05/2013 Fixed some spots on the day-by-day reports in date range that showed dollar signs instead of percents.
06/26/2013 Fixed a problem that could cause the wrong old employee to show on the work tickets.
06/22/2013 Changed the employee password to prevent any space to be accidently typed at the beginning or end of an employee password.
06/18/2013 Added a new option to the Email Options button on the Customer Display/Check In screen. Now if you have certain customers that have trouble getting graphical confirmation emails you can set them to text-based while keeping graphical confirmations for the rest of your customers.
06/17/2013 Changed the Pay In/Out to not allow a customer to use Partial Payment category. This category is used for processing multiple credit cards only.
06/13/2013 Made a change to make the override to the new task bar effective in all situations. 06/11/2013 Fixed a problem that made the Text Message time on the Maintenance screen show incorrectly if you used times from later in the day.
06/10/2013 Fixed a problem when forcing multiple credit cards for one transaction. Canceling out or answering No and then going through the sale anyways could cause discrepancies between SpaSalon and XCharge's reports.
06/03/2013 Added the ability to round all tax to the nearest nickel for anyone that lives in a location that no longer accepts pennies. 05/22/2013 Fixed a problem that caused the View Select screen's price level selectors to not work correctly.
05/16/2013 Changed the gift certificate sale process so that the gift certificate numbers are no longer added to the mailing list since this is no longer needed for the program to operate correctly. This should have no visible effects for customers.
05/14/2013 Added Comcast to the list of text message providers.
05/02/2013 Fixed a problem that could make the appointment warning not show up when booking an appointment within the current week when the customer was booked for multiple services in the same day.
05/01/2013 Fixed a problem that could cause the credit card section of the Detailed Daily Sheet to lock up on X-Charge customers that had a large volume of credit card sales on the day.
04/30/2013 Changed the checkout screen so that you can click the past retail items when adding retail to add them to the sale.
04/30/2013 Changed the way discount codes with no discount applied reflect on the Discount Code report.
04/29/2013 Changed the program so that if you answer No to checking a customer in again but hit Continue instead of Cancel the customer does not get checked in a second time. All other changes you make to the customer record will be saved though.
04/29/2013 Changed the Family Checkout so that Previous Customer Total no longer hides the Balance Due on the checkout screen.
04/29/2013 Fixed the Retail Reminder Report. The last customer alphabetically was not included in the report.
04/26/2013 Changed the check in process so that answering No to merging a customer closes the check in screen completely.
04/26/2013 Changed the program so that standing appointments now get booked a week in advance to when the day becomes available on the appointment book. This helps to avoid possible issues where people would book an appointment before the standing appointment got a chance to go on the book.
04/19/2013 Changed several screens including the check in, check out, and service selection so that boxes that had words greyed out no longer have a faded look to the words.
04/19/2013 Added the option to remove email addresses from the list of recipients by right-clicking on the email address. You must have more than one email address in to remove one.
04/11/2013 Turned on the ability to have service charges based upon the transaction type. Due to the high cost of credit cards, some owners are charging the employees a service charge based upon the transaction type.
04/10/2013 Fixed a problem with the credit card section of the daily sheet for X-Charge customers. It did not show any information on days where there were no regular sales, only pay in/out entries.
04/09/2013 Fixed a problem that caused the tip and signature lines to show up when reprinting receipts.
04/04/2013 Added Cellcom to the list of text carriers.
03/27/2013 Fixed a problem that could throw the drawer off when Partial Payments were used during credit card sales.
03/21/2013 Fixed an error with booking a room when it was not required. This error occurred when a service requiring a room was selected, but before booking the appointment the Back button was pressed. If a different service was chosen that did not require a room the room was still booked based upon the first selection.
03/12/2013 Fixed a problem for people using multiple cash drawers that could cause erroneous Cash Over/Short entries when transactions types on the right side of the transaction list (transaction types 5-8) were changed at the Close Register screen.
03/01/2013 Corrected an issue with Sticky Notes not displaying when Customer Display was clicked twice in a row without hitting Continue or Cancel.

02/27/2013 Fixed an issue with Discount Codes. When a Discount Code was entered and a retail item added after wards the system prompted to clear the discount code to continue. Unfortunately, the system did not clear out the discount and would not allow a discount to be processed without starting completely from the beginning.
02/22/2013 Updated the Salon Use to increment the Week, Month, Quarter and Year totals identify trends on salon use products.
02/20/2013 Fixed an issue where correcting the same sale multiple times could cause issues if the sale included gift certificates, IOU's, or other double-entry transaction types.
02/20/2013 Fixed a problem that could cause Deposits to show up in the Verify Monies, Correction Screen, and the Daily Sheet when they should not have been there.
02/20/2013 Updated state tax table for Georgia.
02/14/2013 Changed the Loyalty ID# button so that canceling the screen no longer clears out the customer's current ID number.
02/12/2013 Added the option to put in custom subjects for all of the automatic email messages.
02/11/2013 Added the option to the confirming screen to move the appointment.
02/11/2013 Fixed the 941 Report to reflect the 12.4% instead of 10.4% now that the 2% Employee Discount was eliminated.
02/05/2013 Updated the Inventory Order process so that orders printed and labels printed will be available through the Stored Reports section in Reports.
02/04/2013 Added an option to the Loyalty program to give points for each new customer referral.
02/04/2013 Updated State Tax Table for Missouri.
02/04/2013 Updated the Account Summaries section of reports to send all of the reports accessed through there to the Stored Reports section.
02/04/2013 Updated the 941 Report to reflect the new social security rates of 6.2% for both the employee and employer for a total of 12.4%.
02/04/2013 New option for retail returns to always return the product to the shelf. This is helpful for large salons that have a single person in charge of all returned products. 01/31/2013 Changed the Close Register screen for customers using multiple cash drawers so that you can't go to any other screens while it's open.
01/30/2013 Added ability for Mac systems on Spa-Salon Manager - Cloud to not be forced to choose the Universal Printer when printing. This eliminates unnecessary steps.  Contact IBCS to turn on this feature for an individual login.
01/18/2013 Changed the Lost Customer Report to not show any customer that is scheduled for an appointment. Before the system excluded them if they had an appointment within two weeks. That was very confusing and the reason for sending a lost reminder is for someone that is not scheduled.
01/18/2013 Updated State Tax tables for Colorado, Illinois, Oklahoma, Oregon and Vermont.
01/16/2013 Changed the Daily Sheet Reports so that you can do more than one report in a row without having the date selection screen close between each one.

01/09/2013 Changed the Play Spa-Salon Manager so it does not store historical inventory information when opening the program.
01/09/2013 Changed the Email Receipt option so that turning it off does not automatically turn it off under the Daily Correction screen. This allows you to turn off the email receipt prompt at checkout but still go in to correction, choose Reprint Receipt, and email a receipt to the customer. 01/09/2013 Updated the Email Receipt option to allow it to operate even if receipt printing is not used on the system.
01/08/2013 Added the option to the Reprint Receipt button under Correction -> Change Payment Method from Transaction Today to send an email to the customer if you have emails set up in the system and the customer has an email address.
01/08/2013 Changed the way the department breakdown on the Summary Daily Sheet rounded numbers to match the top section.
01/05/2013 Updated California State Tax Table.
01/05/2013 Fixed a problem that could cause a Daily Sheet error when closing terminals or the day in businesses using the separate registers feature of the program.
01/05/2013 Added an option that allows salons with multiple locations that would prefer they all run under the same copy of the program to only show the employees from each location in the appointment book and for service credit. 01/04/2013 Fixed a problem that caused the Update/Book Appointment button on the Customer Display screen to incorrectly mark customers as existing even if they were new customers.
01/04/2013 Fixed a problem that caused people with no service department file to have the system set them up with Department 2 as the first department instead of Department 1.
01/04/2013 Added Total Retail to the Inventory Volume Cost Report.
01/04/2013 Updated W3 Form for State, wages, tips etc and State Income Tax where showing in box 14 instead of box 16 and 17 respectively.
01/04/2013 Updated State tax tables for Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Nebraska, North Dacota and Oregon. Many states did not change this year, but if additional updates may be forthcoming now that the federal tax table has been completed.
01/04/2013 New Federal Tax Table adjusted for inflation and new tax rate of 39.6% for wage earners above 400,000 Single and 450,000 Married have been updated. The Social Security rate for employee wages is now 6.2% instead of the 4.2% for 2011 and 2012.
01/03/2012 Fixed a problem for people that had more Pay In / Out categories than the system currently allows to be entered where the categories above the 40th would not show totals on the Pay In / Out Date Range Report.
