12/30/2012 Fixed the Medicare Calculation that was updated incorrectly on 12/21/12. Medicare showed a huge negative number for normal calculations.
12/21/2012 Updated Tax tables for Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota. Social Security rates were raised to 6.2% and wage limit of $113,700. We are still waiting on final word from the Federal government on tax table changes. The Federal Exemption amount was raised to $3,900.
12/20/2012 Added a warning to the void process on gift certificate redemptions that will prevent you from voiding the sale if the system is unable to find the correct gift certificate to credit. In these cases you'll need to use Correction -> Subtract Sale from a Previous Day to correct the sale.
12/17/2012 Changed the Loyalty program so that it no longer requires that you provide a unique ID number. You now have the choice of either manually keying in a unique ID number or having the program automatically assign one for you. The Loyalty program is still an 'opt-in' program. This means that until you click the ID# box on the Customer Display/Check In screen the customer is not in the loyalty program. Once you click that box the system will either automatically assign an ID or ask you for one (depending on the settings you selected) and any future sales will accumulate Loyalty points. Finally, going in to the Loyalty section in Maintenance and saving the changes on that screen will cause the program to add in the Loyalty payment method and Pay In/Out category. This will add the necessary options to allow you to use customer loyalty balances to pay for future transactions.
12/11/2012 Added the ability to calculate new Medicare Tax for wages over $200,000 for Single / Head of Household and $250,000 for Married. The additional tax is .9% for wages over the specified amounts.
12/10/2012 Changed the tip tracking so that tips would assign automatically if you had multiple services all done with a single designer.
12/07/2012 Added a new section to reports called Stored Reports. Right now this section provides owners with immediate access to all mailing reports that have been pulled up once you run the update. Reports will be stored for 90 days or you can pick selected reports to save beyond the 90 days.
11/26/2012 Added Revol Wireless to the list of text message providers.
11/21/2012 Added an Add File and Delete File option for Cloud customers to allow them to manage their files stored on the server.
11/16/2012 Added a detailed version of the Employee Information report under Reports -> Maintenance Reports that includes information from the More Info button under Maintenance -> Employee -> Modify Employee.
11/15/2012 Fixed the Vacation button on the Gross Pay Calculation screen. Previously, it took several tries before the system would accept the amount. 
11/08/2012 Fixed a problem with the Email Footers pictures not showing on some email servers.
11/06/2012 Fixed an issue when adding Personal Time to the Gross Payroll Calculation the totals would not calculate until the numbers were entered twice.
11/01/2012 Fixed a problem with the Email Footers that was causing https:// addresses to not send properly. If you have this issue go back to Maintenance -> Internet Marketing -> Email Footer and save the information again. This will correct the problem.
10/31/2012 Changed the artwork program so that updates to your company address and phone number within the program automatically transfer over to the artwork information.
10/29/2012 Fixed a problem that made you click Change to Previous Period twice to get it to work.
10/18/2012 Fixed the Service Charge Dollar amount showing the percentage instead of the dollar amount withheld on the Date Range - Gross Pay Report. All calculations were correct, but the report was showing the percentage instead of the dollar amount.
10/12/2012 Fixed the Add Inventory when adding a new category, supplier or classification to verify when another category is similar in the list.
10/08/2012 Added the total service discount amount for each employee to the Employee Date Range Report and the Close Day Summary for all customers using discount codes.
10/05/2012 Removed the question to Print One Page Per Employee when a single employee was selected.
10/02/2012 Fixed a problem where the wrong Customer Profile would show up if it was still left open from an earlier customer.
10/02/2012 Added the total Service Discount for each employee to the Summary Daily Sheet for customers using discount codes.
09/27/2012 Email Receipt prompt can now be turned off under Receipt Maintenance.
09/25/2012 Fixed a problem with the display of multiple discounts on the Price Change Report.
09/18/2012 Changed the Hold Ticket so that if no services are included with the held ticket the services for the current day will show instead of showing nothing. This allows you to place retail items on hold without affecting the services at all.
09/11/2012 Fixed a problem that caused the customer shown in the grade book history to not update when changing or deleting a customer.
09/10/2012 Fixed a problem that could cause the Show Extra Phone Numbers to show up when it shouldn't be on the Appointment Detail screen.
09/06/2012 Added the Last Visit date to the Top Customer reports.
09/04/2012 Added an option to place an email footer at the bottom of all outgoing emails in the program. This footer can have a line of text, several links to various services such as our online booking, facebook, twitter, etc, as well as up to three text-based links to other sites.
08/31/2012 Fixed the reuse employee process so that it doesn't leave pager settings from the previous employee.
08/31/2012 Widened the Send Email section so that it doesn't force you to another line after 6 1/2 inches.
08/31/2012 Changed the new taskbar on Cloud so that it would not stay on top of reports.
08/31/2012 Changed the discount codes so that choosing the same discount code twice on the same sale would not show up twice on the reports.
08/31/2012 Changed our Epson receipts so they now show the discount code used.
08/30/2012 File Utility is now available on Cloud for the Salon folder only.
08/30/2012 Added a new report to the Date Range Reports called the Aveda Master Report. Unlike the rest of the reports in our program this report does not display anything within our program. Instead you can paste the information in to the Aveda Master Spreadsheet from Aveda to automatically fill out that information.
08/29/2012 Added ability to choose evening times for text messages. If you would like text messages sent out the day before you can have them sent in the evening instead of only in the morning.
08/23/2012 Added a new Date Range report called the Updated Email List. This list will show all email addresses that have been changed within the dates entered.
08/22/2012 Added the option to have text confirmations mark customers as confirmed. To turn this feature on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in TXTCN0.YES and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
08/20/2012 Changed the program so that the Appointment Detail screen will stay open when using the right-click menu. 08/17/2012 Fixed the check marks in Payroll when using a custom theme the progress marks were not shown when going back into payroll after exiting. 
08/08/2012 Added the ability to add or remove multiple password options from multiple employees at the same time. Doing this will set all of the employee password levels to Custom.
08/03/2012 Added a new color to the appointment book to show new customers in an alternate color. The default setting is a light blue. 07/20/2012 Fixed a problem that caused phone numbers not to transfer from the final screen of the appointment booking process to the customer display screen when requested.
07/19/2012 Added an option to prompt for an email address for all customers before asking if you want to send a copy of their receipt by email. This allows receipts to be emailed to customers that have not yet entered an email address and also allows the receipts to be sent to alternate email addresses. 07/19/2012 Changed the discount codes that discount services by a percentage once per ticket to discount off the lowest value service instead of the highest value. To change back to the original setup of discounting off the highest value go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in DISCC0.HI and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.
07/16/2012 Added the ability to email receipts to customers.
06/29/2012 Fixed a problem with the Date Range Day-by-Day Breakdown reports not coming up.
06/29/2012 Updated Paging to send pager messages when appointments are cancelled. Also added the ability to put in employee email addresses instead of pager messages in the Paging section by choosing Email as the Text Carrier.
06/27/2012 Fixed the Update Home/Work Phone numbers under Confirming. Now once those numbers are updated the system will automatically update when Continue is pressed. The information is also recorded in Password Tracking to show when and who changed the phone numbers.
06/26/2012 Fixed a problem retail pricing for employees. The system showed the retail price when the employee price under inventory should have been shown.
06/19/2012 Fixed the Customer Display button under Appointment Detail to not show a blank name.
06/19/2012 Added new options to the Paging system. Employees can now opt to receive pager messages for all appointments booked instead of just same-day appointments. They can also request a daily text message with their starting hour and their first scheduled appointment time.
06/18/2012 Updated system to define your own colors. Double click the IBCS logo or your custom logo to access the Theme Setup. Themes allow the general colors, appointment colors and the menu bar look to be managed by you. To get started, Click Create New Theme. Give your theme a name and you are free to adjust the colors to your individual taste. If you get the perfect design, click the Submit my Theme to share it with other customers.

04/30/2012 Fixed a problem that caused people that showed the prebooking on the employee date range report to get an error when pulling the report.
04/30/2012 Added an option to set a number of days in advance for text message appointment reminders.  This can be set anywhere from 0-4 days in advance and defaults to 0 days for same day text message reminders.

04/16/2012 Added a Taxable field to the Service Information Report under Reports -> Maintenance Reports.
04/11/2012 Fixed a problem that could cause incorrect IOU/Gift Certificate totals to show on the screen when using the Customer Address button on the final screen while booking an appointment.
04/11/2012 Updated the text message addresses for Cricket from @mms.mycricket.com to @sms.mycricket.com based on information from the carrier.
04/03/2012 Fixed a problem that caused the Actual Customer Count on the Date Range Employee Information Report (Sales Summary) to show up as 0.
03/29/2012 For online booking customers that wanted to use the booking guides to restrict times allowed online but did not want them to show in the appointment book in the salon added the option to leave booking guides on but not show them in the book.  To turn this option on go into Utility, then File Utilities.  In the File Name box, type in NOPNK0.APT and click Create.  If you need help with these steps, please call us at 937-832-3969.

03/20/2012 Added the day of the week breakdown to the employee date range day-by-day report.
03/16/2012 Multiple credit cards can now be used for a single transaction by typing the amount used on the first credit card instead of the full payment amount.
03/06/2012 Fixed a problem with the Service Customers number in the optional Retail with Service Sales Information section on the Salon Information Date Range Report.  It was including non-services stored in the history (like the note about retail reminders being sent out).
03/06/2012 Changed the inventory order process and the vendor setup screen so that the supplier selection sorts alphabetically.
03/02/2012 Fixed the employee pricing for retail when not doing a discount from retail or above cost. When the employee price was entered into the inventory item information it was not being used instead the retail price was displayed.
03/02/2012 Added some names to the names treated as 'reserved' names - TRAINING, MEETING, and SCHED,OFF will now be treated as non-customers.
02/29/2012 Updated the Instructor Reports so that multiple entries for the same customer were correctly computed.

02/20/2012 Added the option to Discount Codes to do per ticket rather than per service discounts.  These discounts can be credited to the salon card or the service employee.  Using this option requires you to have less than 199 services in the system at the time and will add the service 'Discount' to your program.
02/04/2012 Fixed a problem with the Sticky Notes that caused partial matches on the customer name to pop up sticky notes.

02/02/2012 Changed the Mailing Reports screen so that certain options that could not go together (Existing/New Customer reports with Any Dates) were no longer available.  Also made changes to the Lost Customer options to make them more clear.
01/26/2012 Added an Email client to the SpaSalon Manager.  If you have your emails through us and currently check your emails by going to email.spasalon.com then you'll now be able to go to the Send Email button in the program and click Check SpaSalon Email.  From that screen you'll be able to see your emails that have come in, read them, save any attachments, and if the email address matches to a customer in your program you can click the Customer Display button right on the email screen to take you directly to that customer.

01/13/2012 Fixed a problem that caused employees that could not perform the service to show when using the Search button and selecting a package.  The services could not be booked but the employee names showed until you clicked the service and then the employee selection.
